On December 12, 1999 I left my home in Santa Monica, CA with some friends and a digital camera to go on a surf tour. That was a long time ago and this trip has turned out to be allot more than a surf tour.
The trip Started in Fiji. I was there for two weeks. Then I spent new years in Australia and was there for two months. Then I went to Indonesia for two months. That was where the surf trip ended. After Indonesia I went to Thailand for two weeks and then to Israel for two months. After Israel I went to Scandinavia and Greenland. Greenland marks the furthest point in my trip. Now I am in Israel and have tickets from Israel to Thailand and from Thailand to Indonesia. From Indonesia I will buy a ticket back to Santa Monica via Japan or Hawaii.
In the begging of my trip I thought I could get away with E-mailing all my digital photos home. That turned out to be a nightmare and a fortune in rented computer time. Naturally I slowly took less and less photos, to the dismay of many of my friends. Now, July 20, 2000, half way through my trip, I have discovered the web page and am renewing attempts to keep a photo journal of my travels. Visitors can keep me to it by sending encouraging e-mail through the link provided on this page.
