Scandinavia, Norway and more Greenland Photos
The next stop was Norway. When we arrived in Oslo we met up with my brothers Nimi, Topaz and Sasa and also my sisters Canann and Atalya. The eight of us pilled into a van and did a four day driving tour of the fiords. Our first stop was Lilehamer where my little brother Sasa and I snuck into the recreation center they made out of the Olympic village. We played on the climbing walls and climbing ropes. Then we snuck onto the virtual golf course and played a few holes. The entire time Sasa thought we were going to get arrested… but we did not.
We did some white water rafting that was very tame and family oriented. We went into one of the more famous fiords where there is one fall line from the snow capped hights of the Norwegian continental divide all the way down to the ocean. The most beautiful water falls and scenery that I have ever seen. We went all the way up to Alesund and then turned around and drove through a great many tunnels, crossed allot of fiords with a lot of ferries and came back to Oslo.
As far as the non-surfing part of my trip goes Scandinavia was the biggest high light. Glaciers are the chisels of God and with them he has made the most spectacular sights. I am sorry that I don’t have any photos but none could have captured the beauty.
After 3 weeks in Scandinavia I returned to Israel in, debt once again.
